Jennifer Johnson | Speech Therapy
I have a bachelors degree from Clemson and earned my graduate degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Virginia. I have worked in pediatrics since graduating from UVA, including outpatient therapy Children's Hospitals in both Virginia and Colorado, special education services for preschoolers in Head Start and also for elementary/high school students in local school districts and also in Early Intervention, providing home and community based speech and language services for children under three years of age. My experiences have given me the opportunity with work with toddlers, school-aged children and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses and abilities. I am licensed by the Virginia Board of Health Professions and I have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from the profession's national organization, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). In my free time I enjoy baking/cooking (and eating!), hiking, traveling and college football. I am excited to be back in the Charlottesville area!

Fun fact about you: have lived in every time zone of the continental US! or The first place that my husband and I rented together was a former corn crib that had been renovated (and had no real heat, it was really cold!)
