Zack Sofley | Physical Therapist
Office Location: Midlothian
Hey! My name is Zack, and I am one of Small Talk’s Physical Therapists. I am originally from Lawrenceville, GA where I got my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Georgia State University. After taking a year off from school working as a physical therapy aide, I got accepted to Emory University’s Physical Therapy Graduate program in Decatur, GA. This is where I met my wife who is also a Physical Therapist. After we graduated in 2020 we stayed in GA for a year working before taking a year doing travel jobs as physical therapists up the east coast. We ended up falling in love with Boston, MA where we spent 2 years there. While in Boston, I primarily worked in an outpatient pediatric facility where I was trained and certified in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). Our facility also followed an intensive model where kids all around the world would come to be treated. We utilized interventions such as spider cage, neurosuits, DMI, and WBV plates. I also have experience in the school setting, acute care and home health. I have treated a wide range of ages working primarily with newborns to 21 year olds; however, have had experience working with the adult population in the home health, hospital, and outpatient setting. I have seen and treated a variety of diagnoses throughout my career and have gained a lot of experience in my travels. In my spare time, you can find me and my wife outdoors either playing golf, kickball, or just enjoying the beautiful weather with friends! We also have a cat that we spoil all the time. I am excited to be a part of the Small Talk family and to help kids grow to their full potential!
