Small Talk Pediatric Therapy Center is a privately-owned boutique therapy practice specializing in pediatrics. Small Talk is currently hiring at our Richmond and Harrisonburg locations. At Small Talk, we emphasize individual attention and specialized care in a warm and inviting setting with a non-clinical feel. We cater to quality of care over quantity of care, with therapists in charge of their own schedule. We offer individualized, family-based treatment to our clients and encourage connection with families in order to maximize growth, with treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our office provides speech, occupational and physical therapies, with opportunities to work together with other disciplines for a holistic approach to treatment. Our office also provides reading intervention services and the opportunity to tie in a child's needs specific to reading with other skill sets that may be lacking such as phonological awareness skills, handwriting, comprehension, and more.

We are expanding our Harrisonbug space and need a SLP for in-officie clients. Opportunities as well to work with a local school district. Immediate availablity. Seeking experienced candidates with strong clinical skills and experience working with a diverse population. Must have strong people skills and be comfortable working closely with families and other professionals. Experience with feeding and/or AAC preferred, including evaluations, intervention, and programming of multiple types of devices. Experience with telehealth is a plus. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine speech and language needs.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient, focusing on pediatric populations.

• Provide speech therapy services through in-person modalities in office (potential school setting, location specific).

• Collaborate with families and educational staff to supporthome carryover of skills.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

• Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in speech therapy practices.
